Little man has not been doing so great. Three fevers in one week, to accompanied by some stomach issues. He is been taken through the ringer right now. Poor little guy wanted to take a nap in mommy’s bed today and who and resist an adorable 2 year old being cute (especially one who doesn’t feel 100%). So if you think of us, pray that we will find some answers to why he is not feeling great please!
Beyond the irresistible request to take a nap in my bed, taking this shot of him was beyond irresistible to me. I love him.

Miss A is just lovely. I had the pleasure of getting to take her 6 month pictures. I also had the privilege of being her newborn photographer about 6 months ago and I am excited to get to do a one year session with Miss A in about 6 months from now. Miss A’s parents signed up for a baby’s first year plan and I am so glad that they did!
Mom was extremely prepared for this session as well! She found the tutu on Etsy and the hat on a trip to Monterey. I love it when we have cute things to incorporate into the pictures!

She turned 8 last month. Eight is Great! Pardon my cheese there but 8 really was great on this day.
Miss J’s mom planned for me to come and meet these three lovely ladies at Sweet Memories in Millbrae this past Monday. We had a fabulous time of ice cream, new candy discovery, worm races (see below) and just general 8 year old mayhem!
Thanks ladies for letting me be your paparazzi for the day, and Miss J. I hope that 8 is the best year of your life so far! Prepare yourself for some more cheese…. thanks for the Sweet Memories.

I told you there were worm races!
“I am the winner!!!!”

And what birthday celebration would be complete without an animated gif? None!

This first image here is the hardest image I have ever taken…

I worked and worked and worked to get him warm and comfortable and in this pose and about 2 seconds after I took this image I got this one…

This little guy was tough. haha. And since I am friends with his mom and dad I do intend on torturing, I mean, reminding him every time I see him that he was my most challenging newborn to date. All kidding aside, I did get to spend a while with him sleepy and got to enjoy a few different poses with this little man. Here are a few more from our session.

Thanks S. family for letting me be a part of the welcoming of your new little one. It is true what they say, sometimes pigs do fly.

These two little guys made me melt. Literally! It was 85 degrees outside and I had the space heater on. Wanna know a secret? It made them so sleepy I had a great time with all of the awesome set-ups we got!
Not just for the heat though, these two peanuts were so full of cuddles and holding them made me 10 times more excited for my own newborn in just a few weeks now! That too makes me melt.
Thanks R. family for inviting me into the first few days of these two guy’s lives. I am so pleased to share this sneak peek with you. I will be in touch soon!

This little guy is a trooper. Born at 24 weeks he is now 7 months old (3 months adjusted age) and he is doing great! The moment I laid eyes on him I had to squeeze those cheeks! They are beautiful!
I got to spend a few hours with Mr. Cheeks and his big brother today. I must say I enjoyed seeing a little into my future and imagining that I will be taking pictures of these of my two littlest ones in just a few months! That makes me smile.
Thanks P. family for inviting me into your world. Your two boys are special blessings and I am excited for our sessions through the rest of baby’s first year!

This little man is the newest addition to the S. family. I graduated from high school with both his mommy and daddy! In fact, I believe I had multiple classes with his mommy and I remember vividly spending Friday nights rooting is daddy on as part of the Pirate football team! You know, back in the day.
I was beyond thrilled and honored to be asked to take newborn pictures of this little man. He is so adorable and in the time I was hanging out with him I could tell that he is very much loved!
This is a to be continued post, little man was wide away our whole session, so I will be heading back to spend some more time with him early next week. Truth is, I just couldn’t get enough of him, so I have to go back for more.
Thanks J. and D. for asking me to be a part of welcoming your little man into the world. See you in a few days!

This is Max’s first blog post! I am so proud of him and the images that he is creating for me and for you guys! I had to let him share a little. Here’s Max…
LeeAnna and Andy are quite the couple. Andy rides a Harley…a mostly blacked out Harley. I like Harleys…therefore the bro-love is kinda there by default. LeeAnna has a super-soft heart for children and thats super-buddy material in by book thanks to my 3 (soon to be 4) kids. They made each other laugh a lot and that made Kristy and I smile a lot. Smilings my favorite!
I met these two when Kristy did their faux-gagement shoot a few years ago. I felt pretty good going into this session because I wanted to try some new things and these two made it really easy thanks to the history. Kristy edited these 4 and I edited the next one(s). I hope I’m available to help with their wedding later this year. Mucho congratulations you two!
Thanks for looking and enjoy!

And Max LOVES doing ring shots. LeeAnna’s diamond is a black diamond (same as Carrie’s in SATC2, haha). I think it is so freaking cool!
And like always you can leave Max some love or LeeAnna and Andy!

You might recognize these two. Back in the day, when I just just just starting out they were brave and let me practice on them. What is so cute about it is that they were just just just starting out in their relationship too. We joked that it was a tiny bit awkward last time when she asked him, “babe, will you take faux engagement pictures with me?”. Talk about bringing up the “M” word! haha.
But it worked out for them. A few years later and they are gettin’ hitched (like my ranch talk there?) this October! And I am so excited to be their photographer. I can’t wait.
We went to Borges Ranch for these. The knotty oak trees were abounding, the hills were still a tiny bit green, and it was hotter than heck when we started out. I can’t believe it has gone from a high of 62 and rainy to 90 degrees and blazing in like two days. CRAZY!!!
Thanks to you LeeAnna and Andy for being game for all our ideas. Here is my sneak peek from yesterday. Keep an eye out in the next few days for a second sneak peek from Max. He did so awesome as the second for this engagement session that he earned himself his own sneak peek. yay!

Feel free to share you heart out on Facebook and if you leave me a comment I will buy you a cookie (well maybe not but I will want to buy you a cookie!).

Babies sleep. People always say that the first two weeks of life are crazy for the parents because they are lacking sleep and it is true that parents are often quite sleep deprived after a new little one arrives. That is usually because the baby is awake overnight but typically babies will sleep alllllll day. I like to take advantage of that. That is a huge part of my job. The sleepy newborn is one of my joys in life.
Yesterday baby N. wouldn’t sleep for me. Despite all of my best attempts he was wide awake. And really it was wonderful. He was a great baby and his being wide awake let me get some images I haven’t gotten before. I loved it.
He is gorgeous! I love his hair and his alert eyes. He has this beautiful olive complexion that looks like he has a great summer tan. I wanted to just snuggle with him all day!
Thanks K. Family for letting me be a part of N. first few days. Here is your sneak peek, I will be in touch soon.

Love the expression in this picture! Isn’t he a doll?

As always I would love for you to leave a comment for the beautiful new family or for me. Thanks!!
