As I finished up editing my recent maternity session with this beautiful momma, I happened upon this one. I had discarded it for some reason upon my first time through the set. But then as I looked again I realized how beautiful the background was. And how it just framed her so perfectly. And then I saw how it almost looks like a watercolor.
This was only enhanced a little, and I can’t believe how cool that background is, can you?
I got the amazing opportunity to take some couple’s shots of this wonderful pair. And the love that these two share was so apparent. All I had to say was, “love on each other,” and it gushed. I am so happy for the two of you!

I had the privilege of shooting one of the greatest families today! And they were cute too! That is always a bonus. I know the boys are still waiting to see the frog that lives in my camera. We will make sure that he gets out to see you guys next time!!!

It was so much fun to hang out with your guys today at Chabot Park in San Leandro. Every aspect was perfect. Perfect lighting, perfect belly, beautiful daughter, awesome dog… couldn’t have been better! I CAN NOT wait to shoot your littlest one when she arrives.

These lovely roses were a gift from my wonderful husband. As of yesterday we have been married for two blissful years, here’s to many, many, many more, honey!
We are officially opening for business on January 1, 2009. And I could not be more excited about what is to come. I wanted to make a post to publish our session prices in 2009. Keep an eye out for our website release in the next month.
The creative fee for the session starting January 1st is $150. That is for both the time and talent of the photographer during the session and also includes the editing as well. A deposit of $75 is required to hold your session date.
Contact me for a booking in 2009 before December 1st, 2008 and receive a complimentary 8×10 (a $35 value) of your favorite image from our session in 2009.
