Two Bridges: San Francisco Engagement Photographer

I met up with Amy and Sean at the SF Ferry building. I had never been. I feel like a bad Bay Area native. This little marketplace rocks. Anyway, I met up with these two at Blue Bottle Coffee and almost immediately saw this fabulous chemistry between them. These two are just simply in love. Combine that love with Amy’s fabulous dress and you have great photography chemistry too.

Thanks you two for just being you. I loved getting to meet you and learn more about your world traveling ways. I hope you have a great time in Paris next weekend and next November in Thailand as you say your “i do’s!”

Katie and Brian: San Jose Wedding Photography

So many times through the day yesterday I heard the words ring out, “friends first” and “friendship that blossomed into love.” It was so clear from the heartfelt toasts to the incredibly spiritual and personal marriage ceremony that Katie and Brian are not only meant to spend the rest of their lives loving each other but also being each others best friend. I was touched to many times yesterday by the genuine community that surrounds these two in love but also by the tender love that these two share.

Thank you Katie and Brian for inviting us to share in a part of your day. You two are so crazy cute! I hope that you have a beyond fabulous time on the happiest place on earth and I know for sure that you two have found your “happily ever after…”!

During the ceremony the priest had every extend their hands in blessing and prayer to the couple. Beautiful.

Genius idea: Remove flowers from centerpiece, clean vase, fill with 2 pints of beer, enjoy.

Feel free to leave Katie and Brian some love below by clicking on “comments” below. If you are interested in booking Kristy Lynn Photography for your wedding email me at kristy@kristylynnphotography.com.

Cooler than the flip side of my pillow, that’s right…

Uncle Kracker’s song rang though the air as Courtney took her journey toward the aisle. I started to tear up a little. I have heard the song something like a million time but I could not think of a better song for her to be walking down the aisle to. These two really are better than the best and they really are cooler than the flip side of the pillow. And they really are perfect for each other.

Wente is always gorgeous. Yesterday was no exception. The weather was extraordinary amazing. The light was all kind of crazy awesome. The dinner was spectacular. I am seriously spoiled by my phenomenal clients.

Courtney and Jesse, thank you so much for letting me document your day. You guys were so crazy cool to let us have the baby there through the day. Words cannot express how much that meant to us. Here is your sneak peek. I can’t wait to see you guys again in a few weeks (I have the awesome privilege of getting to be the wedding photographer of some of Courtney and Jesse’s friends soon too!).

Also thanks to Max who both shot with me and took care of our 3 week old during the wedding. Special thanks to Melissa of Silvertide Photography in Santa Cruz who was my awesome second shooter for the day.

Enjoy your new chapter as Mr. and Mrs.! :)

I got this amazingly beautiful blanket from a dear friend’s dear mother. I adore it. It is the perfect shade of baby blue. It is the perfect stitch too. In fact, she learned this stitch to make this blanket for Mr. Grady. I am honored to get to take pictures of it.

What I love the most about these is that you can see his beautiful blue eyes in these images. I very highly doubt they will stay blue, it is just not a strong enough part of his genetic pool to remain baby blues. For now they are blue and I love them.

And the final image is of the big brother. He is having a hard time adjusting this week. The newness has worn off and baby is here to stay. Our days are all different now and he just isn’t loving it. He still LOVES his baby brother, I think he just wishes we could send him back to the hospital from time to time, poor guy!

So thank you, thank you, thank you Karen for the awesome blanket. It is a blessing to us!!!

I finally had some time to do some more pictures. I bet you will see a huge change in him in these shots. He has plumped up quite a bit. When we went to the Pediatrician on Wednesday he had already by passed his birth weight by half a pound. They want to see babies back to their birth weight by then and he exceeded that by half a pound! I am a proud momma!

Every day we have a little more awake time than the day before and we love to see how he is changing daily. He really is quite the blessing and will actually just sit and let us hold him and be content. It is amazing to have such a happy baby! Every baby is a blessing so I don’t want to compare but having a mellow baby has been the biggest blessing we could have ever dreamed of!

Well without further ado here are the images I got today. The first one is my favorite I got! And be sure to check out the little before and after at the end of the post.

But I love this one too:

Here is a straight out of the camera (sooc) version of the next image. In this one you can see the outbreak of baby acne that is plaguing him right now. Then in the second shot you can see how I fixed it. I have some mad photoshop skilz, right?!?
