Hey ya’ll, this family is cute: Louisville Family Photographer

They are cute, it is the best word to describe them. I feel like have I have met the nicest people while I have been here in Kentucky. Like so nice that I would be tempted to stay here for a few more weeks but I think all my people at home would have something to say about that.

And how can you not just instantly fall in love with Miss M.? I mean look at those eyelashes. I mean, are you serious? How is it that God blesses babies with the most gorgeous eyelashes. Women pay hundreds if not thousands to have a small piece of what this doll has naturally!

And those rolls! I am a little jealous. I have always had the stocky all muscle boy who had maybe one roll indentation on his left thigh, but nothing like this. I think if I do have to go home I might just have to take her with me. HAHA! I am kidding. (no seriously your kids are safe!)

While I am away: Louisville Family Photographer

I had the awesome privileged to hang out with the N. family and their beautiful little girl Miss S. What a fun time we had! And it was a first for me too. I have never taken a family picture that included a cat. I will spare you the hilarity but just know that we got the shot, pure chaos and all.

I am in Kentucky on an adventure with a friend of mine and while I am here I thought it would be fun to meet some new families and spend some time capturing some of thier memories.I have two sessions while I am here and this is the first of them.

This family is adorable . You can tell that this mommy and daddy are totally enamored with the lovely little Miss S. and in the short time that I had to get to know them I was enamored with them too. Thanks for letting me hang out with you guys for a little while and without further ado here is your sneak peek!

Monica Graduates. YAY!

So apparently it is frowned upon to refer to my friend Monica as Dr. Monica. She has a Juris Doctorate but I guess that doesn’t so much make her a doctor as it makes her a. really really smart (like graduating with honors smart) and b. just about the coolest person I know.

I emensly enjoyed my weekend getting to celebrate with Dr. Monica (hehe, it is my blog, I can do whatever I want!) on her graduation from Gonzaga School of Law (and in case you didn’t know, Gonzaga is a top tier law school in America, I told you she was really really smart). And I have a feeling that everything I have said has embarassed her so far, but she has chuckled and handle my expressions of pride with grace. Because that is just Monica.

So congratulations my friend. You have earned it. You have REALLY earned it. Enjoy the last few hours before the studying for the bar exam commenses. And remember find someone you can ask your really stupid questions, it is critical to your success!

Have camera, will travel… San Francisco Wedding Photographer

I am a big fan of travel. In my life to this point I have been to 31 states, 3 continents, and 16 countries. So when the opportunity to go to upstate New York to second shoot for my friend Wendy Mitchell Photography arose I was both excited and knew that it was going to be a stellar learning experience. Wendy has a calm understanding that she really does know what she is doing and that was just an awesome thing to experience. The images with an unfamiliar watermark are the ones that Wendy was kind to share.

Sarah and David are just the sweetest bride and groom. They are young love at its best. I appreciated how their faith was weaved seamlessly though the day. I also appreciate that there were over 200 people at their ceremony and reception who truly loved them and were there to lift them up in support and prayerful thoughts. Being 3000 miles away from my own love only furthered my renewal of the power of love and commitment.

Best of all that life has to offer Sarah and David. May these images serve as a reminder of the amazing covenant you made to each other on your wedding day!!
