Kristy Lynn Photography is a believer in a cause. Breast Cancer is second leading cause for cancer deaths of women in America. In 2005 186,467 women were diagnosed with Breast Cancer and 41,116 women died of Breast Cancer. It is too many. Preventative screening and early stage treatment have been critical to the lowering of Breast Cancer deaths but much more can be done in the areas of research and education. For that reason I have joined with other wedding and photography professionals to work for the cause. There are many places that we can put our money where our heart is such as the Susan G. Koman foundation, The Avon Walk for a Cure, not even to mention many other research and educational programs.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. And with that in mind a few of us here at KLP will be participating in some local events to show our support for survivors, those currently in the midst of the disease, and those suffering with the loss of a family member. Beyond that we will be doing a month long fundraiser at Kristy Lynn Boudoir where a portion of each boudoir session booked and paid for  in October will benefit The Pink Initiative and other foundations.
