The W Hotel in Newark has these incredible purple couches in each room. I have had three sessions at this hotel now and I have to say that that glorious velvety purple is an inspiration to me each time I walk in the room. The hotel is the perfect blend of upscale and modern but is also a great place to just relax and let your hair down.

I have been getting tons of emails asking me to do a marathon, so I am going to, actually I am going to do two!

Marathons sessions (where I get the hotel, and up to four ladies sign up for the session) are a great way for you to get a boudoir pampering session at a great rate. It is also a great time for a group of ladies to plan to do it all together! You can all get your make-up done together and help with outfit choices. But even if you aren’t doing it with a group of friends it really is a great way to treat yourself to a special day and have fun realizing just how truly beautiful you are!

I got the opportunity to have this fun session with Miss E. a few weeks ago! She had booked as a gift for her husband. The best part of that is that doing a boudoir session like this is a great gift for your man but in the end it always becomes a gift for yourself too. I mean, think about it. When else do you get to pamper yourself, get a pedicure, get yourself primped to perfection and then get to have a blast being a model for the day. I can’t tell you how many times I have had women say to me, “I feel so beautiful after seeing these images!” Sure they are a gift for him, but you walk away with a renewed sense of self, a belief in who you are, and an empowered spirit!

Thank you Miss E.! I know he will LOVE them!

Miss A. came to California on a girl’s weekend with her family. And I can’t imaging anything better to do on a girl’s weekend then to have sexy pictures taken. It was like one giant slumber party on the day of our sessions. I had a blast getting to know Miss A. and her family. I can’t wait for you to see all of your images, but here is a quick sneak peek. With it being fall and all there is a big push for family photography and it is the tail end of wedding season, so you can imagine my delight when I got this boudoir session. It was a breath of fresh air. I mean not that I don’t LOVE families and weddings, I DO! But it was nice to have a little variety!

We met up at the gorgeous newly renovated Hotel Shattuck Plaza. WOW! That place rocks. I would recommend to it to anyone who would be looking to schedule a boudoir shoot! The light in this room was stellar and the details of decor and color palette just fit the session perfectly.

And now enough gushing about the decor and the room. Thanks to the beautiful Ms. M (that is not her real initial!), you were so much fun and I think we got some awesome images. I will be in touch soon.

Miss M. is so much fun. When we started talking about what kind of images she was hoping for from the session her requests were simple. She wanted subtle sexiness and she wanted them to be fun. And that describes her personality to perfection. She has a very simple, not so much in your face “BAM” kind of sexy about her. She is very sweet and man this session was fun!

What you won’t see in this sneak peek. A. She jumped on the bed for me. First time ever for that one. B. She is a student, and we did this whole studying in bed set up that is frikkin awesome. And C. A whole bunch of really cool images that I don’t have room for here.
