The purple couch: San Jose Boudoir Photographer

The W Hotel in Newark has these incredible purple couches in each room. I have had three sessions at this hotel now and I have to say that that glorious velvety purple is an inspiration to me each time I walk in the room. The hotel is the perfect blend of upscale and modern but is also a great place to just relax and let your hair down.

Miss A. met up with me a few weeks ago at the W and we had a blast taking some pictures for her and her husband. Thanks for letting me share this image of you. SO GORGEOUS!!! Can’t wait to show you the rest of your images!!

Beauty: San Ramon Boudoir Photography

I am going to call this awesome lady Miss A. (a is for awesome!). Miss A. is preparing for her wedding later this year and wanted to have a special gift for her new husband on their wedding day. I couldn’t be more thrilled with this idea. I think that there is nothing better than a the gift of yourself in an album. You are not only going to be his wife, but you are also his fantasy! So thank you Miss A. for trusting me with this special session, I can’t wait for you to give him this gift!

A session for V-day! Northern California Boudoir Photography

I got the opportunity to have this fun session with Miss E. a few weeks ago! She had booked as a gift for her husband. The best part of that is that doing a boudoir session like this is a great gift for your man but in the end it always becomes a gift for yourself too. I mean, think about it. When else do you get to pamper yourself, get a pedicure, get yourself primped to perfection and then get to have a blast being a model for the day. I can’t tell you how many times I have had women say to me, “I feel so beautiful after seeing these images!” Sure they are a gift for him, but you walk away with a renewed sense of self, a belief in who you are, and an empowered spirit!

Thank you Miss E.! I know he will LOVE them!

So Much Fun! San Francisco Boudoir Photography

Miss M. is so much fun. When we started talking about what kind of images she was hoping for from the session her requests were simple. She wanted subtle sexiness and she wanted them to be fun. And that describes her personality to perfection. She has a very simple, not so much in your face “BAM” kind of sexy about her. She is very sweet and man this session was fun!

What you won’t see in this sneak peek. A. She jumped on the bed for me. First time ever for that one. B. She is a student, and we did this whole studying in bed set up that is frikkin awesome. And C. A whole bunch of really cool images that I don’t have room for here.

Seattle ROCKS!: Seattle Boudoir Photographer

So this past weekend I had the awesome privileged of traveling up to Seattle for my first ever travel marathon. It was a rocking good time and I even got to get a little lost last night wandering around downtown Seattle looking for a Starbucks. Yes, I do know that there is one on every corner (seriously!) but I was looking for the original Starbucks to add to my city mug collection.

And now to Miss T., this girl is awesome! We had a great time laughing and being silly but really it was just really nice to hang out with some one as passionate about photography as I am. I really can’t say enough nice things about this awesome woman.

hawt, hawt, hawt! San Francisco Boudoir Photography

This is part two of my boudoir marathon posting. Miss L was a breath of fresh air. I think from the moment she walked through the door I knew it was going to be an awesome session. The happiness radiated off of her!

This session is such a reminder of why I shoot boudoir sessions. I shoot these because I really truly feel that every woman is beautiful, every woman is sexy, and every woman should not only embrace that but celebrate it. I can’t imagine a better way to celebrate yourself than to have a fabulous photoshoot that captures everything that you are. All your beauty, energy, spunk, happiness, and sexiness!

A new adventure!

The lyrics ring through my head… “gotta keep ‘em separated.” And it is true, sometimes one does need to keep them separated. And thus the creation of The Boudoir Blog.

What will you find here? Well first of all sexy pictures, which will not appear on my portrait blog. Secondly, you will find all the specials and announcements about this exciting part of my photography business. Thirdly, you will find information about boudoir photography. And lastly, you will be encouraged to live in a way that shows off your beauty.

And speaking of specials and announcements, I have a very important one for you today.
